[BASIC FUNCTION] Own the activities of the Kohler Novita Brand product marketing, including product portfolio management per sales channels, pricing strategy, distribution/channeling strategy, consumer promotional activities to drive purchase, market research, and preparation of annual and mid-range marketing planning to provide a satisfaction of consumer needs and constant growth and optimum profits. Be responsible for implementing the marketing program and achieving the sales target in line with the category objective. He/she is also to work closely with all Kohler Novita departments including product planning, marketing communication, Sales, R&D, Production, and Accounting.
[SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES] - Develop annual and mid-range marketing plans and programs, which include new products, product range build up, pricing positioning and promotional efforts for Novita Brand. - Coordinate product and channel management so as to assure advertising planning, promotions, and marketing penetration are consistent with the annual and mid-range marketing plan and is consistent with target consumer needs and market potential. - Identify consumer needs, market potential, trends, research, analysis of sales records, and problem identification. - Analyze competitors’ strategy and activation and reflects findings and learning into the winning marketing strategy - Develop innovative and effective marketing communication tools with marketing communication team to increase conversion and purchase rate - Coordinate the development of effective packaging, installation instructions, product offerings, products displays and field activities for retail promotion. - Collect and analyze market information to respond to the customer needs promptly and build the market data warehouse for future strategy development.
[RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS] - Report to Director of Marketing, Novita Brand
[External/Internal Relationship] Organization Relationships: - Frequent contact with product planning regarding the development of new products or changes in existing products. - Frequent contact with marketing communication to obtain advertising and promotional support consistent with the marketing plan. - Frequent contact with sales team regarding market penetration, new product justification, changes in existing products, promotional programs, etc. - Moderately frequent contact with product engineering, finance, operation, product quality, SCM.
[EDUCATION & Experience requirments] - College graduate or equivalent - Have experiences with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in developing go-to-market strategy and commercial activation for Korea consumer market.
- Experience in multinational FMCG company would certainly be a plus
- This person should be energetic with strong ownership, strong influence power, convincible, creative, resourceful and commercial sense and analytical skill
- Acknowledge a satisfactory written & spoken English level
