Coupang's FP&A position will work closely with executive leadership to establish and review new strategic reporting initiatives that will be used by all finance teams across the organization.
This position will work with key business partners across the company’s finance organization to further develop and standardize new profitability and cost allocation measures, create more meaningful management reports that are both efficient and that can scale with the company’s growth, and support the coordination and communication of the company’s financial planning and analysis process.
Responsible for leading the financial planning and analysis function by directing the company’s financial forecast, annual budgeting process, and operating plan analysis.
This role’s focus is to develop best in class planning, budgeting, forecasting, and meaningful systematic business reporting and analysis to enhance financial tools and insights on the company’s profitability, stability, liquidity, and growth.
[Responsibilities]
Will provide financial support to management including preparing financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, new business opportunities and other projects.
Establish and oversight of annual budgets for top line growth, and also resources and expenses.
Own corporate finance definitions and ensure uses of definitions are being used consistently across the finance organization.
Build and enhance financial models used to forecast and report the company’s revenue and other key business metrics, including daily sales data and forecasts.
Compile and review financial results and operational plans and communicate results to company leaders.
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
Produce ad-hoc reports and assist in various projects.

BA/BS degree required
Minimum of 5 years of experience in following fields.
(Finance, Accounting, Consulting, Investment Banking, Business Planning/Development)
Strong Excel Skill
Proficiency in Korean or English

SQL
MBA
Master in Science, Engineering, Economics
Direct experience in Retail or Operations (FC, Trans, Supply Chain) a strong plus but not necessary
