Job description
At Coupang, our product owners are mini-CEOs with end-to-end ownership of a specific area. We are looking for a Product Owners in the Marketing Platform organization with a strong passion for the e-commerce business, advertising & marketing technologies, and the product management discipline. Coupang’s Marketing Platform Office organization is envisioned to build a world-class digital advertising and marketing engine combining leading innovations and technologies across ad-tech and marketing-tech industries. We are looking for candidates with a passion for customer data, data-driven optimizations, and real-time programmatic technologies to drive high performance platforms for Coupang. You will enjoy working to turn actionable, data-driven, innovative ideas into high-performance advertising and marketing platform, products, and services on a regular basis.
An ideal candidate will have a background in digital advertising (search, performance, display) or customer marketing (app push, e-mail, direct) product management. You are familiar with the programmatic ad technology landscape (DSP, Ad Exchange, SSP, retargeting etc...), data platforms (DMP/CDP, CRM, analytics), and/or marketing automation (personalization, dynamic content optimization, multi-channel campaign management). You will create product vision, define the product roadmap, and release calendar. You will have demonstrated success in understanding business needs & opportunities in advertising and marketing, and translating those ideas and concepts into successful and impactful products to users in market.
[Responsibilities]
> Define a portfolio of advertising & marketing products, platforms, and services in the following domains:
Customer profiling, segmentation, and personalization Content, creative, and offer optimisation Campaign predictive modeling and attribution Channel Management
> Partner with Marketing Operations team to develop marketing strategies, align against KPI targets, and identify product needs and opportunities. > Own and manage the product vision, roadmap, and release lifecycles. > Collaborate with program management and engineering teams to successfully deliver products, platforms and features to market.
[Qualification]
> Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering. > 10+ years of experience in product management or product development. > Strong understanding of marketing and advertising technologies and businesses. > Ability to deliver high quality products in a fast paced Agile environment. > Demonstrated ability to manage, and prioritize multiple projects. > Proven track record of delivering scalable platforms and products to market.
[Preferred]
> 15+ years of relevant experience in ad-tech or marketing tech industry as a product manager. > Digital advertising (search, performance, display) product manager familiar with the programmatic ad technology landscape (DSP, Ad Exchange, SSP, retargeting etc...) and data platforms (DMP/CDP, CRM, analytics) > Customer marketing (app push, e-mail, direct) product manager familiar with the marketing automation (personalization, dynamic content optimization, multi-channel campaign management). > Masters/Ph.D degree from top university with emphasis on coursework in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science and related fields.
