Join us and work as our Finance Business Analyst at Coupang, a rapidly growing company where the future is brighter than today.
The ideal candidate will quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of Coupang and the businesses within. The strategic finance team partners with the respective businesses within Coupang to influence data driven and financially sound decisions. The position is a very fast-paced and demanding role given the strong growth trajectory of Coupang. This position is not a corporate level role that entails M&A, investments, or an accounting controls role; rather a business unit role focused on helping Coupang grow.
[Responsibilities]
Corporate finance: Analyze trends in financial metrics, cash flow management and profitability analysis
Strategy: Perform root cause analysis and research strategic growth opportunities
Business operations: Develop processes and standards to promote visibility, operational improvement, performance measurements and member accountability
[Qualification]
2 + years experience in Finance
Bachelor's degree in business or highly analytical majors (mathematics, CS, engineering, economics etc.)
Experience with conducting decision analysis and quantitative modeling (FP&A)
Ability to gather, analyze, and organize large amounts of data and provide insight/recommendations
Familiar with creating and analyzing KPIs
Intermediate/expert level with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access
[Preferred]
Advanced degree
Prior investment banking, strategy consulting, Big 4 accounting or other related finance experience with focus on start-up, e-commerce or retail
English and Korean Fluent, written and verbal
Comfortable in fast-paced and unstructured work environments
