Would you like to lead a team of high performing individuals focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services(AWS) by developing strategic accounts across start-ups, mid market and enterprise companies?

Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish AWS as a key technology platform provider?

AWS is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world-class candidates to join as and lead our team based in Seoul.

As the Sales Manager - Mid-market, Korea for AWS, your responsibilities will include building and driving the strategy to increase adoption, and market penetration in enterprise accounts and SMBs and managing a sales team to build long-term business and marketing opportunities. .

The ideal candidate will possess a business/sales background that enables them to lead a team of Mid-market sales representatives to engage at all levels of a customer and partner organization, including C-level.

He/She will also demonstrate a strong technical competency focused on the IT landscape and cloud computing. He/she should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan business objectives

Roles & Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the Mid-market sales team.
· Develop and execute a short, medium and long term country plan.
· Meet and exceed individual and team targets.
· Serve as a key member of the Korea sales team in helping to define and deliver AWS’ overall strategy.
· Accelerate customer adoption by identifying specific customer segments and industry verticals in the region to approach with a value proposition for using AWS.
· Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts at the C-level.
· Work closely with the Partner team to ensure that AWS is the partner's preferred cloud computing platform across all service lines.
· Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports.
· Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
· Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
· Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.
· Ensure customer satisfaction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· The right person will possess 12+ years of experience in IT sales, business development, or consulting and at least 3 years in the management of a sales team.
· Direct field & management experience in working with enterprise accounts.
· Would have consistently exceeded quota and key performance metrics.
· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
· Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
· Strong technical competencies in the areas of cloud computing, web services and enterprise software.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills both in Korean and English are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
· BA/BS degree required. Master or MBA a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
