[POSITION SUMMARY]
The Branch manager role has the responsibility to successfully lead the operational functions within the branch on daily basis.
Support the management team while fostering an environment that aligns with company vision, stragey and culture.
The role is responsible for motivating and empowering people to perform the manufacturing process with excellence and to produce a quality product.
[Key RESPONSIBILITIES]
1.
Leading a Safety first approach maintaining a zero accident culture. Ensures and monitors work, accident prevention and environmental protection regulations of the facility to assure a safe and productive work environment free of any liabilities or defects.
2.
Development and administration of Operational budget, controlling operational P&L and formulating actions to address variances and gaps, achieving revenue targets, maximizing productivity and cost optimization.
Works closely with other departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Quality & Program Management to ensure continued delivery of manufacturing plan.
3.
Monitors quality and quantity of output; takes appropriate action.Optimize branch capacity and efficiency through flexible plant and manufacturing structures, improvement through Lean Manufacturing methods within operations and optimize production utilization and Strategy.
4.
Review & update projected indirect hourly Headcount Changes in baseline report, Review & reconcile updated indirect hourly headcount & cost data, Review direct labor headcount & Propose adjustments, Review Margin Analysis at a branch level, Review Total Planned Expenses by branch, Review Financial Statements for Reasonableness at a branch level, Propose top level provision(s)

Establishes a culture of functional and Operational Excellence, supports 5S, lean initiatives and to be a committed role model for our Company’s Beliefs and Behaviors.
6.
Establish and maintain appropriate internal capabilities and strengthen the organization (Succession Planning) through training, career development opportunities as necessary to achieve operating objectives.
7.
Maintaining strict adherence to internal and external Business Processes and Certifications synonymous with a large US Incorporation operating within the Automotive Industry and all other local legal requirements.
8.
Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.
[EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE]
- Automotive experience
- Experience in understanding financial staements
- Experience in people management
- Experience in project management
- Business acumen with proven track record and expertise
- Proven leadership skills in a growth and change based manufacturing environment
- Strong multi-tasking skills with willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
- Strong Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Proven ability to build relationships, to drive results through internal partnerships and to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints
- Excellent oral, written, organizational and communication skills
- Must be detailed oriented and energetic
- Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks, problem solving skills and problem-prevention
